## Description

As a Senior Engineer in Site Reliability at LSEG, you will be part of a diverse and inclusive organization that owns the availability, performance, and scalability of a critical shared service. You will work on the Electronic Trading (ET) team, focusing on the design, reliability, and operational excellence of a high-performance FX trading platform used by major financial institutions worldwide.

Responsibilities:

- Own and maintain Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for supported systems.

- Continuously measure and improve availability and overall system health.

- Develop automation to scale systems sustainably and prevent or mitigate service issues.

- Partner with development teams to enhance reliability, observability, and release velocity.

- Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, post-incident reviews, and root cause analysis.

- Promote strong engineering practices for building, deploying, and operating high-performance services.

- Enable Cloud migration, working with operations and engineering teams.

- Conduct architectural reviews, support operational acceptance testing, and configure Datadog dashboards and metrics.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Experience with programming languages like Java, C#, Python.

- Experience with relational databases and SQL.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code.

- Experience in Observability practices with logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.

- Hands-on experience with one of the following cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, Kubernetes.

Preferred qualifications:

- Minimum 5-7 years in the industry.

- Experience with Cloud-native relational databases.

- Experience with DevOps concepts and way of working.

- Experience with algorithms and data structures.
