## Description

Amazon's Worldwide Grocery Stores is seeking a Store Designer to join the Retail Growth & Development, Enterprise team.

As a Store Designer, you will play a crucial role in driving multiple projects throughout all phases of design, permitting, and construction administration. You will work across a large portfolio and multiple banners with a diverse set of programs, translating brand design standards and concepts in an innovative yet fiscally responsible way.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage the design process, interfacing with internal and external design partners.

- Adapt site-specific conditions metrics and standards to store designs.

- Build data-driven scope of work with internal stakeholders, focused on servicing operating stores.

- Develop FF&E and Décor packages.

- Work with key internal and external stakeholders in the development and production of comprehensive design development packages.

- Create presentation packages to communicate design with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

- Drive and create Schematic Design Packages.

- Coordinate with Construction, Procurement, and Operations Teams on budget and schedule considerations and value engineering efforts.

- Manage consultants throughout all phases of design through the project lifecycle.

- Provide Construction Administrative support as needed.

- Archive completed drawings, redlines, and shop drawings.

- Obtain landlord approvals per lease requirements.

- Review and approve submittals and shop drawings.

Requirements:

- Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents.

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5+ years of retail or operations experience.

- Experience managing multiple complex projects and adapting to change.

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience with end-to-end ownership of major project deliverables.

- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite.

- 5+ years of retail, grocery, or customer-facing experience.

- Architectural or Interior Design FF&E Experience.
