## Description

WSP is seeking an Experienced Structural Drafter to join their Property & Buildings team in Irvine, CA. The successful candidate will provide technical support for the modeling and detailing of new and existing structures.

Responsibilities:

- Construct comprehensive structural Revit models for various types of structures and projects.

- Generate structural drawings from engineering markups and architectural backgrounds.

- Incorporate advanced modeling techniques and design requirements.

- Maintain cloud-based BIM models throughout a project's duration.

- Collaborate with structural engineers, and contribute to project coordination.

- Ensure quality control standards and procedures are met.

- Exercise responsible decision-making regarding company funds and resources.

Requirements:

- High School Diploma.

- 7+ years of relevant experience in engineering drafting.

- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and cloud-based BIM platforms.

- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Effective self-leadership and attention to detail.

- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Associate Degree in Drafting or a related technical discipline.

- Prior drafting experience in a structural engineering firm.
