## Description

We are seeking a Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Spire Edinburgh Hospitals on a bank basis. As a Bank Physiotherapy Assistant, you will assist registered physiotherapists on the ward, progress patient mobility after surgery, and discharge patients. You will also assist with exercise classes, provide high-level customer service to patients, consultants, and hospital teams, and help maintain high standards of cleanliness in the physiotherapy department.

Responsibilities:

- Assist registered physiotherapists on the ward

- Progress patient mobility after surgery and discharge patients

- Assist with exercise classes

- Provide high-level customer service to patients, consultants, and hospital teams

- Stock replenishment and ordering equipment

- Assess the health and wellbeing needs of patients with relatively stable and consistent needs

- Help maintain high standards of cleanliness in the physiotherapy department

- Support the administrative team

Requirements:

- Experience in a previous Physiotherapy Assistant role

- Good level of IT skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to provide exceptional patient care
