## Description

We are seeking a Core Calibration Engineer to join our team in Casablanca.

As a Core Calibration Engineer, you will develop and maintain baseline ECU strategy calibrations for gasoline and diesel engines. You will ensure consistency and reusability of calibrations across different vehicles and derivatives. Your responsibilities will also include defining and updating default parameters for key functions such as air and fuel management, ignition and injection, torque control and engine dynamics, OBD diagnostic strategies, and thermal management and emissions.

You will perform engine and vehicle bench tests to validate calibrations, evaluate performance under standard conditions, and ensure robustness across the entire usage range. You will also participate in technical meetings and validation reviews, and utilize and interpret test data using tools such as INCA, MDA, Matlab, and Vector.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- An engineering degree or Master's in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Powertrain, or Automotive Engineering

- 2 to 5 years of experience in engine calibration

- Fluency in French and technical English

- Strong knowledge of engine management systems and control laws

- Proficiency with calibration and measurement tools such as INCA, MDA, CANape, and AVL CRETA

- Understanding of OBD strategies, emissions, and regulations

- Knowledge of engine thermodynamics, combustion, and forced induction

- Familiarity with homologation cycles and international constraints
