The Growth team at Meesho plays a crucial role in making the platform a popular e-commerce destination in India. As a Senior Copywriter, you will join the team to create the best user experience in the online shopping journey through compelling copy.

The Growth team handles all aspects of user acquisition, engagement, and retention on the platform. The team's responsibilities include launching and scaling users, ensuring the right product selection, competitive pricing, and sales. The team also focuses on personal growth and team bonding, with regular one-on-one meetings, monthly outings, and timely rewards and recognitions.

## About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Copywriter with a proven track record of crafting impactful and persuasive copy. The ideal candidate will be able to turn ordinary briefs into extraordinary creative content.

## Responsibilities

- Create compelling and engaging copy that inspires action across various platforms, including social media, push notifications, digital ads, and more.

- Develop a deep understanding of the brand's essence, voice, and personality to create copy that integrates seamlessly with the brand's identity.

- Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm innovative ideas and concepts.

- Ensure flawless copy by proofreading and editing for typos, inconsistencies, and grammatical errors.

- Manage multiple projects and deadlines with agility, prioritizing tasks to meet demands.

## Requirements

- 3-5 years of copywriting experience.

- A combination of ad agency and client-side experience is preferred.

- Experience working with various brands and industries, particularly in e-commerce, is desirable.

- A portfolio of work, including ad films and writing samples.

- Strong attention to detail, creative thinking, and a quirky sense of humour.
