## Description

We are seeking a native-level Malay speaker to join a confidential, large-scale AI and consumer technology programme for a major global technology and communications client. The successful candidate will evaluate a pre-release AI model in Malay and test its performance on a client-supplied device.

**Main Responsibilities:**

- Review pre-release AI model output in Malay, assessing accuracy, naturalness, appropriateness, and overall quality.

- Test the Malay experience against the English one, confirming feature parity and checking for localization errors.

- Identify display problems and write clear reports for developers to reproduce issues.

- Share your perspective as a native-level speaker on navigation, usability, and language-specific nuances.

- Work on-site in a private, secure area of the Welocalize office.

- Support other linguistic projects as needed.

**Job Requirements:**

- Native-level or fully bilingual Malay, written and spoken.

- Confidence with smartphones and laptops, comfortable moving between iOS and Android.

- Sharp eye for detail and fair, objective judgement when assessing quality.

- Ability to work independently, follow detailed test scripts, and explain issues clearly in English.

- Previous experience in software or app testing, localization QA, or linguistic evaluation is a strong plus.
