## Description

Adyen is seeking a hands-on CDD Risk Analyst to join the Direct Customer Onboarding team. The successful candidate will contribute to the growth and scaling of Adyen's customer base in North America.

The CDD Risk Analyst will perform enhanced due diligence, review KYC documentation, and assess potential anti-money laundering risks to protect Adyen and its customers.

Key responsibilities:

- Execute Know-Your-Customer (KYC), Customer Due Diligence (CDD) procedures, and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)

- Collect and analyze customer information, documenting material changes to their organisational structures, legal entities, and policies

- Perform KYC checks on merchants, collect and verify relevant documentation, and improve the process flow

- Guide merchants and serve as the first point of contact for every account onboarding

- Drive process improvements and provide feedback on automation within workflows

- Act as an internal advisor for Direct Customer Onboarding-related questions

- Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency in risk assessments for onboarding

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in Customer Due Diligence/Enhanced Due Diligence/KYC

- Knowledge of payment risk concepts

- Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and prioritisation skills

- Curious and analytical mindset with a tendency to think outside the box

- Affinity for AI and automation, with experience leveraging advanced tools

- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working with people from diverse backgrounds

- Clear communicator with a strong team spirit

- Analytical and critical mindset to inform risk-based approaches

- Operationally oriented with a willingness to drive projects with cross-functional teams

- Willingness to travel 10% of the time throughout the year

The annual base salary range for this role in San Francisco is $90,000 - $125,000. The total compensation package includes equity (RSUs), 401(k), health, dental, vision, and more.
