## Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at Dean Wood Bupa Care Home in Woodingdean, Brighton. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in delivering person-centred care to our residents.

The role involves taking responsibility for the well-being of our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. You will also be responsible for coaching and guiding the team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals.

Key responsibilities include:

- Taking responsibility for the well-being of our residents and making sure their physical, emotional and social needs are met

- Coaching and guiding the team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals

- Carrying out assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans for each of our residents

- Monitoring work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to the relevant standards, policies and legislation

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A valid NMC pin as a Registered Nurse

- Previous experience ensuring policies and standards are kept to a high clinical standard

- Confidence in offering clinical guidance for care teams and contributing to CQC tasks

- Effective communication and reporting skills

- Enhanced skills for night shifts, including strong critical thinking and the ability to manage care staff and remain calm in emergency situations
