## Description

SpaceXAI is seeking an experienced individual to join their culinary team as a Cook (Sushi). The role involves managing kitchen inventory, focusing on food preparation setup, and contributing to the company's mission.

## Responsibilities:

- Manage and monitor inventory levels and ingredients

- Assist in establishing menu specifications

- Maintain quality by ensuring products are prepared according to guidelines

- Enforce food quality

- Ensure safety of physical kitchen and café space

- Assist with and distribute work schedules

- Oversee front-of-house food preparation

## Basic Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalency certificate

- 3+ years of restaurant/food service production

## Preferred Skills and Experience:

- Sushi kitchen experience

- Degree in culinary arts

- High-volume production and catering experience

- Proven ability to create innovative menus daily

- Ability to perform under pressure

- Excellent communication skills

- Possess a creative spirit and ability to make the culinary experience part of the SpaceXAI culture

## Additional Requirements:

- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed

- Physical demands include standing up to 10 hours per day, sitting up to 3 hours per day, pushing/pulling up to 50lbs, lifting/carrying up to 25lbs, and kneeling/crouching up to 6 hours per day

## Compensation and Benefits:

- $32.5 - $35 USD per hour
