## Description

At Ford Motor Company, a leading automotive manufacturer, you will play a crucial role as a Manufacturing Engineer in the Powertrain Manufacturing Engineering (PTME) team.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will contribute to building world-class powertrains, working on new technologies, processes, and testing methods to enhance quality and efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the specification, procurement, build, installation, and launch of Powertrain Production Test Systems for engine powertrain projects.

You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new engine programs, ensuring industry-leading quality, and leverage data analytics and machine learning tools to drive decisions.

The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

## Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering

- Strong analytical ability

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Data-driven mentality and decision-making process

## Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in Manufacturing Engineering

- Basic knowledge of various test processes (Leak Test, In-Process Test, etc.)

- Knowledge of engines

- Mechanical and Controls Engineering aptitude

- Project management experience

- Programming experience in test software such as WMA, InspeXion software

- Electronic controls systems experience with Siemens PLCs and VFDs

- Vibration/NVH analysis a plus

## Salary Information

The salary range for this position varies by grade:

- Salary Grade 6: $74,300 - $124,500

- Salary Grade 7: $86,600 - $144,900

- Salary Grade 8: $99,100 - $166,200

The final determination of salary grade will be based on the candidate's skills and experience.
