## Description

We are seeking Integration Engineers who are passionate about marrying data with emerging technologies to join our team. As an Integration Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major transformation within Capital One.

**What You’ll Do:**

- Manage our IBM MQ messaging stack to ensure availability, capacity and performance to support our critical applications and services

- Utilise your expertise of IBM MQ cluster design, operation and support

- Design and configure new MQ services, perform upgrades, configure channels, topics, queues

- Resolve security vulnerabilities, manage disaster recovery events

- Automate deployment and management of IBM MQ servers

- Work with application owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios

- Design, develop, and implement robust integration solutions in AWS

- Continuously improve software engineering practices

- Stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal and external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community

- Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organisation and diversity

- Serve as the technical integration lead for major initiatives, partnering with software, data and infrastructure teams to ensure interoperability and performance

**Basic Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's Degree

- At least 4 years of experience designing and maintaining cross-platform or cloud integrations

- At least 3 years of experience automating system configuration or data workflows

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- 2+ years of experience with deployment tooling (Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory)

- Experience with Kubernetes and containerisation

- Experience with AI tooling

- Experience developing integration frameworks or reusable components used across multiple teams or applications

- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Splunk, NewRelic) to ensure integration reliability and performance
