## Description

We are seeking an Endoscopy Practitioner to join our team at The Chiltern Hospital in Great Missenden. This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours per week, with a flexible shift pattern.

The successful candidate will be required to:

- Support the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community

- Develop own competence to deliver effective care and treatments through improving clinical/technical knowledge and skill, and expertise

- Communicate appropriately with others involved in the care of the patient

- Act as an advocate for safeguarding patients; demonstrate courage to speak up when there are concerns about care

- Demonstrate commitment to improving care and the patient experience

To be considered for this role, applicants should meet the following criteria:

- Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration

- Basic and advanced Competence/qualification in Endoscopy Care and Decontamination

- Operators Course in Endoscopy Decontamination

- Teaching/Assessing/mentorship qualifications

- Knowledge of appropriate standards and external bodies (Care Quality Commission, GRS, JAG, HTM 01-06)

- ILS
