## Description

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at our West Sussex MBT/AD facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving engineering activities to deliver all operational aspects of the facility, including plant availability, planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and process improvements.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Work reactively to deal with machinery problems and breakdowns, as well as planned preventative maintenance and project work

- Perform electrical work, including sensors, relays, AC/DC motors, contactors, control panels, and PLCs

- Fault find on PLCs, preferably Siemens S7

- Ensure all accidents, incidents, and near misses are reported immediately

- Maintain high standards of housekeeping

- Perform motor electrical and mechanical fault finding, and be familiar with MCC layout of panels

- Work with controls and instrumentation, including temperatures, pressure transducers, and flow meters

- Read and interpret electrical drawings and diagnose electrical faults

**Requirements:**

- HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

- BS7671 18th edition (desirable)

- Experience working in a similar environment, such as manufacturing or industrial automation

- Electrical qualification and competence
