## Description

GuidePoint Security offers a part-time, remote paid internship as part of its GPSU cohort running from January 11 - April 2, 2027.

As an intern at GuidePoint Security, you will work closely with industry-leading subject matter experts to provide first-class cyber security services. Interns will complete in-house training programs, while working on projects to enhance their security knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities and expectations:

- Work a majority of hours between 11am-4pm EST Monday through Friday, ranging from 25-29hrs/wk

- Attend the mandatory in-person onboarding in Tampa, FL from January 11 - January 14, 2027 (all expenses paid)

- Have a personal computing device and access to high-speed internet during working hours

Requirements:

- Be physically located within the United States during the entire duration of the internship

- Be available for full-time hire no later than September 2027

- Be able to attend the mandatory in-person onboarding hosted in Tampa, FL

- Have a basic understanding of information technology, networking, operating systems and security

- Have a genuine passion for information security

- Be motivated and eager to learn new skills

- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and use AI-enabled tools

This position is not available for candidates living in the following states: Alaska, California, Hawaii, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming.
