## Description

We are seeking a Front Desk Agent to join our team at SpringHill Suites Dulles. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for anticipating guest needs, exceeding expectations, and implementing creative solutions to provide exceptional service. You will process check-ins and check-outs, assist guests with reservations and requests, and work as a team player to meet guest needs.

Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guests in a friendly and positive manner

- Process check-ins and check-outs, verify billing, create reservations, and process special requests

- Assist guests by having knowledge of hotel property, local attractions, and hours of operation of hotel outlets and services

- Work as a team player in meeting guests' needs and contribute to the efforts of other departments when necessary

- Understand and follow SpringHill Suites' guest service recovery program

- Follow proper selling techniques to maximize room revenues and drive sales by up-selling rooms and amenities

- Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with SpringHill Suites, brand, local, state, and federal regulations

Required Skills and Experience:

- High school diploma or GED required

- 1+ years prior guest service experience required, preferably in a hospitality setting

- Excellent verbal communication skills needed

- Attention to detail, customer-focused, and ability to perform job duties in a fast-paced environment

- Prior experience in a Marriott brand hotel preferred

- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis
