## Description

Howden Tiger, part of Howden Re, is seeking an Associate Director to join our Accounting and Claims team. You will have 4+ years of experience handling reinsurance claims for clients, working with external clients and reinsurers, and internal broker teams.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

- Maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, and reinsurers to ensure clear communication and high client service standards

- Receive and forward loss notices, updates, and proofs of loss to relevant reinsurers

- Confirm treaty coverage, review contract details, and prepare/review loss calculations

- Process claims transactions, track reinsurer settlements, and forward collected funds to clients

- Attend client claims audits, perform reinsurance claims functions, and provide backup coverage for other accounts

- Review new contract wordings, monitor claims reporting, and prepare reporting forms and adjustment calculations

- Assist clients with Schedule F funding requirements and Letters of Credit from reinsurers

- Collaborate with other departments to forward funds to payees and maintain reinsurer databases

- Assist with training new hires on systems, reinsurance concepts, and claims

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree

- 4+ years of reinsurance intermediary claims experience

- Proficient with Microsoft Office products

- Authorized to work in the U.S.

Experience in multiple lines of business, including property, long-tail casualty, specialty, and excess and surplus lines, is a plus.
