## Description

Anthropic's legal team operates at the frontier of some of the most consequential legal and regulatory questions of our time. As a Discovery Technical Operations Specialist, you will build and operate discovery operations across the full EDRM lifecycle, support active matters, and help drive information governance maturation.

Key responsibilities:

- Build and operate discovery operations across the full EDRM lifecycle

- Support the operational design and execution of the legal hold program

- Support and improve the discovery technology stack

- Partner with discovery team, in-house counsel, outside counsel, vendors, and internal technical teams

- Partner with Security, IT, and product engineering to support Anthropic's data landscape

- Improve and support the operational layer of Anthropic's information governance program

- Integrate AI and automation into the EDRM lifecycle

- Support active litigation, government investigations, and regulatory inquiries

- Design and build internal tools to streamline and manage critical discovery workflows

Minimum qualifications:

- Hands-on discovery experience across the full EDRM lifecycle

- A track record of supporting complex discovery operations functions

- Working knowledge of major discovery platforms

- Strong understanding of the Federal Rules on discovery and evidence

- Experience operating discovery across modern enterprise data sources

- Strong project management instincts

- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical discovery and operational concepts clearly

Preferred qualifications:

- 6+ years of hands-on discovery experience across the full EDRM lifecycle

- Experience standing up discovery operations at a young and/or fast-scaling company

- Experience embedding with engineering or product teams to define discovery and information governance requirements

- Hands-on integration of generative AI and agentic workflows

- Technical fluency working with engineering teams and modern infrastructure APIs

- Experience operating information governance programs at scale
