## Description

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist in our HASE Technology business.

Principal responsibilities:

- Provide IT project delivery, and assist project manager on project planning, stakeholder communication, development, testing, release and so on.

- Lead or assist teammate to provide business & technical solution fit for business need.

- Be accountable for a product or service, identifying and developing the most appropriate technology solutions to meet customer needs as part of the Customer Journey.

- Liaise with other teams, including architects, business stakeholders and so on to understand and drive the product or service’s direction.

- Conduct end-to-end system tests, user acceptance tests and provide support on system implementation.

- Ensure a high quality standard of deliverables according to HSBC standards and best practices.

- Prepare project-related documentation and provide support on compliance and audit checking.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 8+ years rich hands-on experience in development.

- Experience of delivering high quality and complex system solutions.

- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

- Proven hands-on experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.

- Familiar with Linux and Shell script, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 and CSS3.

- Knowledge of testing frameworks and best practices for back-end testing.

- Solid experience in CI/CD tools, such as GitHub, Maven, Groovy, Nexus, Jenkins.

- Knowledge and experience with Distributed systems, Micro-service architecture and APIs.

- Knowledge and experience with relational database.

- Knowledge of DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, test automation and toolings, etc).

- Able to work in Agile working model.

- Strong passion for technology and engineering.
