## Description

As a Customer Delivery Driver for Waitrose, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality produce and providing excellent customer service to customers in Okehampton.

You will be driving a well-equipped, modern vehicle, and your main goal will be to provide a friendly and professional service to customers. You will handle customer orders, respond to any issues, and ensure that products are delivered safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with customers

- Handling customer orders, including substitutions and refunds

- Ensuring that products are delivered safely and efficiently

- Conducting safety checks on the vehicle and reporting any issues

- Assisting with general warehouse tasks when not on the road

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A full, valid UK manual car driving license (B-Category) with no more than 6 penalty points

- Excellent people skills and a friendly approach to customer service

- The ability to lift crates, walk up stairs, and move large cages (approximately no heavier than 18kg)

- To be 18 or older

In addition to your contractual pay of £14.31 per hour, you will also receive a Night Premium of £3.75 per hour for any time worked between 22:00 and 06:00.

The role is full-time, working Wednesday to Sunday, 14:00-22:00. You will be based at Waitrose & Partners, School Way, Okehampton, Devon, EX20 1WL.
