## Description

We are seeking an empathetic and commercially minded Funeral Director to join our Co-op Funeralcare team in Lancaster, Lancashire, and surrounding areas, including Morecambe and the Fylde Coast.

The role involves balancing managerial and business tasks with building strong relationships with clients. You will be part of a team providing a caring and compassionate service when families need it most. No prior experience is required; however, you should have great people skills and a commercial focus.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Ensure client needs, service levels, and KPIs are met.

- Act as the main point of contact for clients, supporting and guiding them with the help of the wider team.

- Support funerals, including conducting ceremonies, leading the team, and carrying the deceased when necessary.

- Refer regulated work, such as funeral planning appointments, to a certified colleague.

- Build and maintain relationships with the team, clients, and the community.

**Requirements:**

- A commercial mindset and experience in a managerial role.

- A true customer focus and passion for delivering a great service.

- Ability to capture intricate details and reflect them in the service delivered.

- Compassion, understanding, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

- A valid UK manual driving license.
