## Description

We're looking for a Workplace Experience Specialist to lead the tactical operations of our office in Detroit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality workplace experiences for employees and visitors that reflect Duolingo's values.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading all aspects of Detroit workplace, including day-to-day operations, food & beverage, badge access, janitorial, visits/tours, etc.

- Collaborating cross-functionally with Duos to ensure exceptional service and hospitality that exceed expectations for a collaborative, fast-growing tech company.

- Supporting local workplace initiatives, customer events, and neighborhood engagement.

- Leading office initiatives and projects, including tenant improvement and XFN projects in our spaces.

- Managing others, including selecting and processing invoices for local third-party providers.

- Supporting Detroit's local teams, including assisting with office budgets and managing conference budgets.

We're looking for someone with 3+ years of dynamic experience supporting outstanding office environments, strength leading cross-functional teams, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Exceptional candidates will have experience at a collaborative, growing tech company, workplace operational experience, and an eye for interior office design and tenant improvements.
