## Description

We are seeking a high-performing and commercially focused Associate to join our Manchester Corporate Tax Team.

The role involves working on cross-border, complex, and high-value transactions, focusing on sectors that interest you. As part of the team, you will have access to excellent training opportunities and legal tech tools, allowing you to continue your development as a corporate lawyer.

Key responsibilities include:

- Working on a variety of projects, including Real Estate, Mergers and Acquisitions, Private Equity, Joint Ventures, and Investments

- Providing efficient professional support to senior lawyers within the team

- Developing professional client relationships

- Supporting the wider team in developing the business and raising the profile of the firm

- Involvement in marketing events and other business development activities

- Managing and supervising the work of others, including trainees

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Excellent drafting skills and the ability to translate legal theory into practical advice

- An ambitious and entrepreneurial mindset

- Good interpersonal and business advisory skills

- An appropriate level of post-qualification experience in a UK-based team (maximum 4 years PQE)
