## Description

Meet knownwell, a weight-inclusive healthcare organisation for all. We're looking for a Medical Assistant to join our brand-new clinic in Sandy Springs. This is a unique opportunity to help launch a new site, lay the foundation for clinic workflows, and grow in role and responsibility as the clinic scales.

As a core member of our care team, you'll play a hands-on role in both the clinical and operational sides of the patient experience. You'll be responsible for assisting with procedures, managing patient flow, supporting front-desk operations as needed, and helping to coordinate follow-up care , all while providing compassionate, weight-inclusive care in a collaborative environment.

This position offers meaningful potential for growth as we expand our Atlanta footprint and add additional team members.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm EST

EMR: Athena

## Skills

### Required
- Medical Assistant certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience with prior authorizations and referrals
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

### Nice to have
- Athena experience
