## Description

Grab is Southeast Asia's leading superapp, offering various services such as food delivery, financial management, and ride-hailing.

The Business Development Manager will lead merchant acquisition efforts for GrabMart, working closely with Key Account Managers and Partner Operations to bring strategic retail partners on board.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing and executing strategies to acquire new merchants for GrabMart

- Managing a pipeline of prospective retail partners and tracking progress

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive approach to merchant acquisition and onboarding

- Analyzing retail and quick-commerce trends to identify opportunities and refine acquisition strategies

- Meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly targets across new merchant signings, category coverage, and GMV contribution

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a focus on merchant acquisition or partnerships

- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding acquisition targets

- Strong understanding of the omni-commerce industry, including market trends, competitor activity, and offline retail operations

- Ability to travel to meet with potential merchants

- Proficiency in CRM software, such as Salesforce, and experience with data analysis and reporting tools
