## Description

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to provide legal advice and support on Macau Operations, including products, distribution, marketing, claims, and complaints.

Responsibilities:

- Provide legal advice and support on Macau Operations

- Manage and advise on claims, complaints, and litigation matters in Macau

- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements and other documents

- Advise on intra-group agreements and other general corporate, commercial, and governance matters

- Provide legal advice and support on business projects and strategic initiatives

- Advise on consultations of new laws and regulations in Hong Kong and Macau

- Monitor and advise on legal and regulatory changes in Hong Kong and Macau

- Work closely with internal stakeholders in Hong Kong, Macau, Asia, and North America

- Instruct, monitor, and supervise the work of external counsel

- Draft, review, and update agreement templates

- Prepare regular regulatory reports

- Conduct legal research

Required Qualifications:

- Qualified solicitor in Hong Kong with minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in the insurance or financial services industry

- Proven knowledge in Hong Kong insurance laws and legal and regulatory framework in Macau

- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Good commercial sense and business acumen

- Good interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset
