## Description

We are seeking a talented Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the Cummins Inc. facility in Morristown, TN. The successful candidate will perform skilled maintenance activities to support manufacturing business needs, ensuring a safe working environment and high-quality craftsmanship.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Ensure Safety: Identify and report any major injury hazards immediately to maintain a safe working environment.

- Compliance and Reporting: Report work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards to comply with HSE standards.

- Environmental Stewardship: Minimize the environmental impact of your work.

- Quality Craftsmanship: Perform tasks to the highest quality standards.

- Preventive Maintenance: Provide feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system and perform quality inspections.

- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement activities and problem-solving.

- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with your team and support teams.

- Training and Development: Engage in HSE training and complete personal development activities.

**Requirements:**

- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience.

- Significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.

- Expert knowledge of CNC machine geometry, precision alignment, leveling, spindle alignment, ball bar analysis, and laser calibration techniques.

- Ability to read and interpret machine mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, P&ID, and electrical diagrams.

- Advanced troubleshooting and repair of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, and forging equipment.

- Strong knowledge of hydraulic circuits, proportional valves, pumps, pneumatic controls, centralized lubrication systems, and fault diagnosis.

- Proficiency in diagnosing CNC control systems, servo drives, motors, PLC I/O, sensors, encoders, and industrial communication networks.

- Ability to troubleshoot Fanuc Robot and gas furnaces related issues.

**Hourly Rate:** $26.50 - $30.68/hr
