## Description

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (Network Test) to join our Intelligence Systems team. As a key member of our team, you will design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for network infrastructure and integrated systems. You will perform hands-on testing and validation of network equipment, protocols, and architectures in lab and production environments. You will also configure, troubleshoot, and validate Cisco networking equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for network infrastructure and integrated systems.

- Performing hands-on testing and validation of network equipment, protocols, and architectures in lab and production environments.

- Configuring, troubleshooting, and validating Cisco networking equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls.

- Utilizing network analysis tools such as Wireshark to capture, analyze, and document network traffic for performance optimization and issue resolution.

- Developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

- Collaborating with hardware and software engineering teams to assess network performance requirements and validate system integration.

- Supporting all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle for network-enabled products from design through deployment.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have 7+ years of experience in network testing, validation, or network engineering roles. You will also need to have strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies including routing, switching, and network security. Additionally, you will need to have a deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, etc.) and network architecture principles.
