## Description

We are seeking a Research Engineer who will bring expertise in AI and ML and is interested in building data-driven capabilities that transform the way legal, accounting, and government professionals work across the globe.

As a Research Engineer at Thomson Reuters Labs, you will be part of a global interdisciplinary team of experts. You will:

- Develop and deliver high-quality solutions using modern software development practices

- Build scalable ML solutions and create large-scale data processing pipelines

- Be a team player and work collaboratively with cross-functional and remote teams

- Be agile and deliver timely solutions in a fast-paced environment

- Be innovative and contribute ideas to create solutions

- Effectively communicate with cross-functional partners and team members

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or related field

- At least 2 years of software engineering experience, ideally in machine learning and natural language processing

- Experience with Python software development stacks and ecosystems

- Ability to understand and apply machine learning capabilities and techniques

- Familiarity with the Python data science stack and libraries such as Numpy, Scipy, and scikit-learn

- Proficiency in automation, system monitoring, and cloud-native applications

- Previous exposure to Natural Language Processing (NLP) problems
