## Description

As a Senior Mobile Engineer (iOS) at Airwallex, you'll build mobile payment solutions for customers acquiring payments from shoppers across the globe. You'll lead the development of the Airi Consumer Wallet, a consumer-facing wallet application and a networked checkout solution.

Responsibilities:

- Build secure, reliable, maintainable, and developer-friendly iOS applications and libraries using native technologies.

- Partner with engineering, product, and internal business teams to define requirements, develop technical specifications, and deliver products end-to-end.

- Improve payment security and customer trust across real-time transaction scenarios, sensitive customer data, and global regulatory requirements.

- Refactor code and designs with architects to improve maintainability, extensibility, and reusability.

- Contribute to the broader engineering community as Airwallex grows and the roadmap evolves.

Requirements:

- A BS or MS degree in Computer Science or an equivalent discipline.

- 5+ years of professional experience developing native iOS applications with Swift or SwiftUI.

- Expert knowledge of iOS frameworks and the broader iOS ecosystem.

- A strong understanding of design patterns for mobile development.

- Experience working with RESTful APIs.

- A track record of writing robust, maintainable code with high test coverage.

- Experience maintaining automation pipelines for CI/CD.

- The ability to work independently and collaboratively.

- Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience developing for Android or familiarity with the Android platform.

- Exposure to cross-platform frameworks such as React Native.

- Experience working with Objective-C.
