## Description

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you'll be at the heart of the commercial performance of Biffa's Southern Region, partnering closely with operational leaders to turn financial insight into action.

Your core responsibilities:

- Partner with senior leaders to provide commercial finance support and insight.

- Drive planning and investment by leading robust budgets, forecasts, and investment appraisals.

- Deliver timely management accounts, reporting, KPIs, and variance analysis.

- Build strong relationships with Regional Fleet Engineers and Workshop Managers through regular site visits.

- Undertake operational benchmarking and regular performance reviews.

- Ensure robust financial controls, delegated authorities, and balance sheet processes are maintained.

Essential requirements:

- Qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent).

- Strong management accounting experience.

- Commercially minded and confident working with operational teams.

- Advanced Excel and strong systems skills.

- Analytical and proactive, with a strong eye for detail.
