## Description

This role supports the US Municipal new issue business, ensuring operational efficiency, minimizing risk, and assuring compliance with internal and external regulations for Muni syndicate offerings.

Key responsibilities include:

- Acquiring DTC eligibility and liaising with transfer agents to effect accurate and timely settlement of Lead managed issues

- Preparing final settlement letters for underwriters on Lead managed issues, including collecting expenses, creating P&L, and final settlement letters

- Wiring monies for settlement of syndicate issues and payment of related vendor invoices

- Communicating with syndicate members and disbursing final settlement fees

- Adhering to Standing Orders for funds disbursement and remaining aware of internal funding limits

- Collecting fees for non-lead deals

- Recording deal transactions, statistics, and details accurately

- Managing settlements to avoid operational risk, regulatory violations, or reputational risk

- Transmitting monies and payments with accurate due diligence to mitigate risk

- Reporting funding requirements, securing needed funding, and meeting Firm capital guidelines

To succeed in this role, you will need:

- 1-2 years of experience with background check validations

- Excellent problem identification and resolution skills

- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Ability to work with time deadlines and prioritize tasks
