## Description

We are seeking a full-time Romanian Interpreter & Translator to join our team.

As an Interpreter & Translator, you will be responsible for providing consecutive interpretation and translation services in a variety of settings, including mental health, healthcare, and legal sectors.

**Responsibilities**

- Interpret verbal communications in real-time into Romanian with careful attention to context, meaning, tone, and technical wording.

- Translate documents, including scientific, legal, and literary texts, ensuring the original meaning is conveyed accurately.

- Attend booked assignments and drive to and from assignments.

- Adhere to high standards of professional behaviour, maintain confidentiality, and follow the Interpreter Code of Conduct.

- Work on projects such as community engagement and outreach.

**Requirements**

- Fluency in English and Romanian.

- Full UK driver's license and access to your own vehicle.

- Current, valid Enhanced CRB clearance.

- Minimum of one year's professional experience as an interpreter.

- Minimum of 200 hours previous experience working as an Interpreter, ideally within the public sector.

- Qualifications in interpreting, translation, or linguistics (MA, BA, DPSI, Community Interpreting Certificate).
