## Description

We are seeking a Claims Adjuster to join our team at Aviva Canada. As a Claims Adjuster, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients during difficult times. You will be responsible for analyzing estimates and claims amounts, negotiating and settling claims, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze estimates and claims amounts, and negotiate and settle claims accordingly

- Provide support to internal teams, including claims experts

- Manage email inbox for reviewers and ensure timely responses

- Offer high-quality customer service to clients, resolving issues and complaints related to claims

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

- Inform and advise clients on the status of their claims

- Identify potential fraudulent claims and work with investigators

- Collaborate with lawyers and experts during litigation processes

- Meet individual, team, and company performance targets

Requirements:

- At least 5 years of experience in property claims adjusting

- Superior analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

- Strong commitment to customer service

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills

- Technical knowledge of property insurance

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

- Knowledge of Guidewire required

- Valid adjuster's license recognized by the AMF

- Fluency in French required; intermediate-advanced English proficiency required
