## Description

We are seeking a Vehicle Technician to join our team at the new Birmingham-based Car Build facility. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting an automotive programme from pre-production through to series production.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Build, strip, modify, rework, and refit pre-production and production vehicles according to engineering specifications and build requirements.

- Perform complete and partial vehicle disassembly and reassembly activities to support build updates, engineering changes, and quality improvements.

- Install, replace, and adjust vehicle components and systems, including interior, exterior, electrical, chassis, suspension, driveline, and trim assemblies.

- Conduct vehicle rework and rectification activities arising from quality concerns, build issues, or engineering changes.

- Assemble components and systems at both sub-assembly and complete vehicle levels.

- Diagnose and rectify assembly and installation issues identified during build, inspection, and verification activities.

- Conduct end-of-line inspections, testing, and functional verification checks on vehicles.

- Maintain accurate build records, rework documentation, and vehicle configuration information.

- Prepare vehicles for internal reviews, customer events, and production readiness assessments.

**Requirements:**

- Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or similar, or equivalent experience in Automotive Engineering.

- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Assembly Technician, or similar automotive role.

- Experience in vehicle assembly, disassembly, refit, rework, and rectification activities.

- Ability to interpret build specifications, work instructions, and technical documentation.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to build quality.
