## Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Older Adults Therapy Team at Hillingdon Hospital for a part-time (0.6 whole time equivalent / 22.5 hours per week) band 6 Occupational Therapist.

The successful candidate will join our friendly, integrated inpatient therapy department on our dementia-friendly Older Adults Rehabilitation Unit. The team has a strong, collaborative, multidisciplinary approach, led by a consultant and supported by nurses, allied health professionals, and the wider team, including discharge support workers and charities.

As a band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will play an essential part in the assessment, treatment, and discharge of patients receiving rehabilitation. You will work closely with patients, their support networks, and multidisciplinary colleagues to achieve positive outcomes. Additionally, you will supervise junior staff, facilitate student placements, and be supported by experienced band 7 OTs and PTs to grow and maximize your potential.

The post is currently weekday only, but the Trust is working towards a 7-day service.

**Requirements**

- HCPC registered

- Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy

- Postgraduate study/training

- NHS experience
