## Description

As a Commercialization & Partnerships Manager at 3M, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with innovative people around the world and make an impact by analyzing and interpreting commercialization data, developing reporting and performance metrics, and facilitating resource prioritization processes.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze and interpret commercialization, portfolio, financial, and market data to enable tracking, support business decision-making, and aid in executive communications.

- Develop and maintain commercialization reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics that provide visibility to portfolio health, pipeline progress, and operating plan objectives.

- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of commercialization data used in business reviews, executive reporting, and strategic decision-making.

- Facilitate resource prioritization processes and support portfolio management activities to improve focus, visibility, and execution of key business initiatives.

- Develop and perform reviews for large, complex business questions, identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and tradeoffs while providing actionable recommendations to leadership.

- Lead continuous improvement of commercialization tools, reporting, and KPI visibility to increase organizational effectiveness and reduce manual effort.

- Facilitate cross-functional alignment across Global Portfolio Innovation Managers, R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Business Unit leadership to support commercialization readiness and business objectives.

- Support the evaluation of new growth platforms, business models, and commercialization opportunities through market, competitive, and profitability analyses.

- Research and evaluate external partnerships, emerging technologies, adjacent categories, and growth opportunities that align with business priorities.

- Prepare executive-level analyses, presentations, and recommendations that communicate complex information clearly and effectively.

- Lead or support strategic projects requiring strong collaboration, project management, and influence across multiple functions.

- Apply business and financial acumen to assess commercialization readiness, launch timing, revenue assumptions, and operating plan commitments.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or higher

- 7 years of combined experience in commercialization, business strategy, analytics, portfolio management, business development, marketing, product management, or related functions

Preferred qualifications:

- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills

- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and lead complex initiatives in a fast-paced environment

- Experience with commercialization portfolio management, new product introduction, or stage-gate processes

- Familiarity with 3M Grow and commercialization reporting systems

- Strong understanding of consumer products commercialization and growth strategy development

- Experience identifying, evaluating, and managing external partnerships or business development opportunities

- Demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems, manage ambiguity, and drive process improvements through innovation
