## Description

As a Master Pilot Plant Technician at 3M, you will work in the MRD Tape Process Development Center (TPDC) within the Global Chemical Operations organization. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining a safe work environment, preparing and operating development equipment, conducting product and process experiments, performing QC measurements and analytical techniques, translating customer requirements to process line capabilities, assisting and training new personnel, maintaining accurate process and experimental records, and ensuring the availability of raw materials.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, four years of combined laboratory/pilot plant/manufacturing experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Additional qualifications that could be beneficial include expertise equivalent to an associate's or technical degree, experience with hot melt compounding/extrusion, solution coating, microreplication, and converting, strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, and flexibility to work shifts outside of the normal schedule.
