## Description

We are seeking an XDP Data Architect to define, direct, and govern our target data architecture, ensuring data accuracy, security, and accessibility.

The successful candidate will contribute to a trusted, secure, and scalable data environment that supports colleagues, customers, and business priorities.

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop the bank's data architecture strategy and translate goals into target data architecture and transition plans.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide subject matter expertise and promote standardized data usage.

- Develop and maintain data architecture governance, standards, and protection policies.

- Manage project alignment with the target data architecture and provide guidance and monitoring.

- Define shared reusable data capabilities, assets, tools, and technologies.

- Monitor regulatory standards and industry developments for potential impact.

- Identify and select best-in-class data technologies and assess compliance.

**Vice President Expectations:**

- Contribute to or set strategy, drive requirements, and make recommendations for change.

- Plan resources, budgets, and policies, and manage and maintain policies/processes.

- Deliver continuous improvements and escalate breaches of policies/procedures.

- Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls.

- Collaborate with other areas of work to keep up to speed with business activity and strategies.

- Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought and comparative analysis.
