We're looking for a Global Project Delivery Director to oversee our Capital Project Portfolio. **About the Team** Workday’s Global Real Estate & Workplace team creates and continuously improves Workday’s productive and safe office environments while supporting our core values and distinction as a great place to work. **About the Role** As the Global Project Delivery Director, you will oversee Workday’s Capital Project Portfolio, taking initial concepts through the entire lifecycle of capital projects. You will also lead rigorous management of capital budgets, at the portfolio and individual project level. Your mission is to deliver "Enhanced Experiences" for our Workmates, ensuring that every square foot of our global portfolio fosters engagement, inclusivity, and high performance. **Responsibilities:** - Direct the planning, execution, and closing of all global capital construction projects, ensuring they are delivered per defined scope & quality, on time, and within set budget. - Identify and manage potential project risks, from supply chain disruptions to local regulatory hurdles. - Proactively engage with Workday Real Estate and Strategic Planning Team to influence future investment planning. - Partner directly with Real Estate Portfolio & Strategy team on site selection, ensuring projects meet the need of the Enterprise Location Strategy and workforce plan. - Work closely with Workday’s BT (IT) and Global Workplace Safety teams to ensure that technology solutions are accurately captured in design. - Track upcoming business / investment needs and requirements for real estate projects globally. - Direct all aspects of construction and project management across Workday’s Real Estate & Workplace portfolio. - Periodically review Project Delivery Model and recommend changes to appropriately support Workday needs. - Partner with other Workday internal teams to ensure seamless handoff of projects at completion. **Financial Stewardship & Capital Budgeting** - Own the global capital budget, providing accurate forecasting, tracking, and reporting to executive leadership. - Drive cost-efficiency without compromising design integrity or the "Workmate" experience. - Negotiate and manage master service agreements with global architects, general contractors, and consultants. - Ensure that schedules and budgets are developed and maintained for projects. - Provide project status reports on costs and timelines. - Drive cost efficiency while maintaining service levels. - Stay ahead of industry trends on systems, tools & practices to ensure Workday remains at the forefront of process efficiency. **About You** - 12+ years of experience in global real estate, construction management, with at least 10 years in a leadership capacity. - Financial acumen with a proven track record of managing $100M+ global capital budgets. **Other Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred. - LEED AP and WELL AP credentials. - A global mindset with experience navigating international construction laws, labor markets, and design standards. - A proven ability to inspire cross-functional teams and influence C-suite stakeholders. - Experience with global projects, specifically in Asia Pacific Japan, and EMEA. - Administrative ability, technical background and project responsibility experience. - Strong team leader with ability to lead internal and external team meetings. - Strong proficiency with project management tools and technology. - Strong internal and client relationship management and interpersonal skills. - Excellent communication skills including strong oral, presentation and written communication skills and professional presence. **Workday Pay Transparency Statement** The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
