## Description

We are seeking a passionate Senior Business Intelligence Analyst with a strong commercial mindset and a genuine love for data. This role isn't just about surfacing numbers- it's about transforming data into meaningful insights that support strategic decisions. You’ll play a pivotal role in enabling teams across the business to make informed, data-driven decisions.

## Responsibilities

- KPI & Performance Analysis: Collaborate with teams across Pricing, Claims & Fraud, and senior leadership to identify and evaluate key KPIs influencing conversion and performance.

- Data Accessibility & ETL Design: Make data accessible and digestible for internal and external stakeholders. Partner with Data Engineering to design and implement ETL processes where needed. You will be responsible for the ingestion and the monitoring of the quality of our claims data.

- Insight Generation & Strategic Input: Monitor business performance, conduct ad-hoc deep dives, and proactively share insights and recommendations with senior leaders to inform decisions, identify growth opportunities, and mitigate risks.

- Reporting & Dashboard Ownership: Build and maintain robust reports and dashboards (using SQL, Looker, Excel, etc.) to assess and track KPIs over time. Ensure reporting is reliable, timely, and fit for purpose.

- Forecasting & Modelling Support: Support forecasting and modelling efforts, building a bridge between our commercial push and insurance performance, and to help teams understand the path to business targets and what levers to pull.

## Requirements

- You have experience in the insurance industry and understand how to connect commercial and insurance metrics, with a solid grasp of how claims processes work.

- You have worked in analytics teams and have hands-on experience as an analyst, partnering with the business to report, analyse, and draw insights from data.

- You know how to build dashboards (we use Looker) and possess advanced skills in Excel and SQL.

- You’re a smart, strategic thinker who enjoys solving problems- not just the ones involving numbers and you’re comfortable executing against tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- You’re eager to grow in the world of data analytics, expanding your technical skills, exploring different areas of analytics and platforms, and developing your career within the company.

- You have excellent stakeholder management skills and can confidently engage with people across all levels of seniority. You know how to prioritise a long list of requests into a manageable work plan and set expectations accordingly.

- You have a team-oriented mindset and see your work as part of the team’s overall success. You’re happy contributing to your own projects or supporting others with theirs.

- You’re excited by the potential of AI and automation to enhance how you work- whether it’s learning how to write better queries, streamline analysis, or create smarter workflows.

## Benefits

- Market-competitive salary, benchmarked against your function and reviewed every year.

- Annual performance bonus, linked to company performance and your contribution.

- Share options, a real stake in the company and a share in the future you build.

- Private medical insurance.

- Pension, generous holiday, and £1,000 a year to spend on getting to the office or learning something new.

- Cutting-edge systems and tools, so you always have what you need to drive your impact.
