## Description

We are seeking a Junior Python Developer in Test to join our Automation Department, which develops software and hardware solutions to automate various stages of production, from working with electronic components and firmware devices to final testing and product assembly.

As a Junior Python Developer in Test, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing an existing base of end-to-end automated tests for desktop applications. Your tasks will include analyzing test failures and instabilities, adapting tests to changes in products, and continuously improving the approach to automation.

The team is also working on developing new approaches to test automation and implementing new tools to simplify the creation and maintenance of automated tests. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of test solutions and auxiliary applications for the QA team and department.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain and develop an existing base of end-to-end automated tests;

- Analyze test failures and instabilities;

- Adapt automated tests to changes in desktop applications;

- Improve the stability, readability, and maintainability of test code;

- Participate in the development of new approaches and tools for test automation;

- Develop internal libraries, applications, and tools for the QA team and department;

- Work with CI infrastructure and launch automated tests;

- Collaborate with manual QA and developers to improve testing processes.

Requirements:

- Proficient in Python 3;

- Understanding of OOP principles;

- Basic knowledge of testing theory;

- Experience with Git;

- Experience with SQL and relational databases;

- Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux;

- Understanding of automated testing principles and test construction.

Nice to Have:

- Experience in testing desktop applications;

- Experience in developing web/desktop applications;

- Experience with Pytest or Unittest;

- Experience with Selenium, Appium, or other UI automation tools;

- Experience in testing embedded products;

- Experience with Docker;

- Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD systems;

- Experience with asynchronous programming in Python.
