## Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Maypole Bupa Care Home in Southampton. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in delivering person-centred care, supporting independence, and honouring choice to help our residents live their best lives.

**Responsibilities:**

- Taking responsibility for the well-being of our residents and making sure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met

- Coaching and guiding the team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals

- Carrying out assessments and developing, implementing, and evaluating individualised care plans for each of our residents

- Monitoring work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to the relevant standards, policies, and legislation

**Key Skills / Qualifications:**

- Valid NMC pin as a Registered Nurse

- Previous experience ensuring policies and standards are kept to a high clinical standard

- Confidence in offering clinical guidance for care teams and being crucial in helping with all CQC tasks

- Effective communication and reporting skills

- Ability to work at night with enhanced skills to ensure patient safety
