## Description

We are seeking a Barback (Commis Bar) to support our bartenders and restaurant staff at Soho House Paris.

As a Barback, you will participate in opening and closing procedures, restocking supplies, and preparing garnishes. This is an excellent opportunity to start your career in hospitality and gain first-hand experience. You will contribute to providing high-quality service to our clients in a welcoming environment. You will work in a team and varying shifts.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, cleaning tables and counters

- Clear empty glasses and bottles from tables

- Restock small equipment (napkins, coasters, etc.)

- Prepare shakers, juices, and cocktail garnishes

- Ensure supply of products needed for menu drinks

- Change beer kegs

- Fill ice bins

- Ensure necessary cleaning tools are available during service

- Assist Bartenders during busy periods

- Restock drinks (alcohol, soft drinks) after each service

Profile:

- Minimum age to serve alcohol

- Demonstrate interest in hospitality; previous experience in a bar or restaurant is beneficial but not required

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Team-oriented mindset

- Basic knowledge of bar menus, recipes, and drinks

- Good physical condition to lift beer kegs and trays

- Presentable appearance in line with our standards
