## Description

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join their team in Lenexa, KS. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence within the store. You will be the first point of contact to assist patients and customers, ensuring an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations and excellent patient care

- Support pharmacists in managing and improving patient health by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care

- Complete basic inventory activities, such as accurately putting away medication deliveries and completing cycle counts

- Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs, and be receptive to feedback

- Understand and comply with all relevant federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and professional standards

Immunization Responsibilities:

- Complete additional licensure and training requirements to obtain Technician Immunizer status

- Educate patients about the importance of vaccines and refer them to the Pharmacist-on-duty for vaccination questions

- Monitor for and respond to adverse reactions

Requirements:

- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy

- Must be at least 16 years of age (if the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement)

- High school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program (if the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement)

Preferred Qualifications:

- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician

- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting

Schedule:

- Anticipated weekly hours: 40

- Time type: Full-time

- Shift flexibility: All shifts are flexible

- Weekend shift frequency: Every other weekend required
