## Description

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team at Intermountain Medical Center - Hillcrest Pediatrics. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive the best care.

**Shift Details:** 40 hours/week, Full Time. Clinic hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm and Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm. Schedule will be four 10-hour shifts with Wednesdays off. Rotating shift every 6th Saturday.

**Responsibilities:**

- Provide patient care under the direction of the clinician

- Communicate effectively with patients through various modalities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on patient care

**Minimum Qualifications:**

- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or at least one year of Medical Assistant work experience or current active RN/LPN license

- Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)

- Demonstrated basic computer skills

- Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Experience in an outpatient clinic or healthcare setting

- Computer literacy in electronic medical records (EMR) systems

- Current national MA certification

**Physical Requirements:**

- Ongoing need to see and read information

- Frequent interactions with patients and caregivers

- Manual dexterity to manipulate equipment

- Ability to lift and transfer patients
