## Job Overview

As a Loan Operations Manager at Carta, you'll play a critical role in managing the loan servicing lifecycle for complex private credit instruments. Carta is transforming how private capital operates by connecting software, services, and legal infrastructure for founders, fund managers, and legal teams.

## Responsibilities

- Manage the entire loan servicing lifecycle for complex private credit instruments, including bilateral, club, and syndicated loans.

- Ensure accurate calculation and processing of interest, fees, PIK accruals, amortization schedules, and unused/commitment fees.

- Execute and reconcile cash transactions, manage lender/borrower communications, and proactively resolve settlement breaks.

- Partner with fund accounting teams to support month-end close processes and provide documentation for audit and reporting purposes.

- Support frontline investment professionals and relationship managers with timely and accurate servicing data.

## Team Overview

You'll be joining the Credit Operations team, which supports Carta's private credit platform by maintaining precision and efficiency across all stages of the loan servicing lifecycle. The team's mission is to provide institutional-grade support to investment, fund accounting, and fund administration teams.

## Requirements

- 8+ years of experience in private credit loan operations, bank loan servicing, or CLO administration.

- Expertise in credit agreement mechanics, including loan origination and lifecycle events.

- Proficiency in LSTA/LMA conventions, day count standards, and benchmark rate calculations.

- Attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy and ability to analyze complex position and cash reconciliations.

- Experience with direct lending portfolios, including unitranche, DDTL, and PIK toggles, is highly preferred.

## Salary

The expected cash compensation range for this role is:

- $153,850 - $217,000 in San Francisco, CA & New York, NY

- $146,158 - $206,150 in Seattle, WA

- $130,773 - $184,450 in Hamilton, NJ
