## Description

We are seeking a qualified New Model Project Engineer- Assembly to join our team at American Honda Motor Company in Timmonsville, South Carolina. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and maintaining schedules for parallel projects to launch new and updated powersports products to production.

**Job Purpose** Develop and maintain schedules on parallel projects to launch new and updated powersports products to production in a manner that prevents negative impact.

**Key Accountabilities**

- Develop and maintain department new model specified action plans.

- Review and track design changes impacting assembly.

- Determine change point impact to department and set reaction plan.

- Lead design and procurement of tools/fixtures required for new model implementation.

- Program Equipment for new and existing models.

- Confirm BOM accuracy.

- Create department budget for new model projects.

- Create and maintain master parts list/parts illustration.

- Create and maintain drawings for out-source of assemblies.

- Prepare and give presentations on project status as needed to upper management.

**Qualifications, Experience, and Skills**

- Associate’s degree in an Engineering or Technical Field (Bachelors Preferred) or equivalent experience.

- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

- Strong communication skills: Verbal and Written.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Demonstrated experience assembling project schedules and Gantt charts.

- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

- Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision.

- Must be able and willing to work flexible hours and weekends.

- Must be available for occasional travel (Domestic and International).

- Occasional overtime may be required without advance notice.
