## Description

Join WSP as a Junior Geotechnical Construction Materials Field Technician in Markham, Ontario. You'll provide geotechnical and construction materials field services for various projects, working with experienced professionals to ensure the quality, safety, and integrity of materials.

**Your Impact**

- Deliver field quality control and quality assurance testing for soils, concrete, aggregates, and asphalt.

- Conduct compaction testing, subgrade and footing inspections, and site observations.

- Perform concrete testing and hardened concrete or asphalt coring.

- Produce accurate sample records, test data, and timely results.

- Maintain and calibrate field and laboratory equipment.

- Pursue CCIL certification for concrete testing.

**The Skills That Set You Apart**

- College diploma in civil engineering technology, construction engineering technology, or a related field.

- 1-2 years of experience in geotechnical or construction materials testing.

- Familiarity with civil construction practices, CSA and ASTM testing standards, and field and laboratory equipment.

- Availability to work overtime, weekends, and night shifts.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.

- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

**Compensation**

- $22.00 - $30.00 per hour (MB & ON)
