## Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced teacher to join our Year 2 team as a Year Group Leader. As a highly inclusive and ambitious school, we are committed to ensuring that all children are valued and achieve their best potential.

The successful candidate will:

- Be passionate about improving children's learning and creating an exciting environment in which children thrive

- Be a creative and hardworking practitioner, ideally with Infant experience

- Have a clear understanding of effective teaching and learning

- Be a highly inclusive practitioner and committed to raising standards for all children

- Have high expectations of children's learning and behaviour

- Be willing to work as part of a team, as well as leading a team

- Be a good communicator and team player who will take an active part in the life of the whole school

We offer:

- Dedicated PPA time (one day per fortnight) with other teachers within the year group

- Dedicated leadership time (up to one day per fortnight)

The closing date for applications is 11th November at 9:00 am. Interviews will take place on 18th November 2026. As part of the interview process, candidates will be asked to plan and deliver a short (20 minute) lesson which will be observed by the interview team.
